I trained with Jill for about a year.  She really worked with my schedule and also had options of other classes for me to attend.  So there really was no excuse not to work out which is what I needed.  Jill gave me excellent tips with my diet that I am still using and probably always will.  She also gave me some great recipes!  Working out with Jill was absolutely great!!  She really pushed me but also checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay.  The workouts were adjusted to my level of training needed.  Also one thing that was great was that she changed up the workouts.  There were things repeated but never was the workout exactly the same which kept things interesting and fun!  In the past I have worked out on my own at the gym and I also had a personal trainer for a month at this same gym that did not even compare to Jill at all.  Then I have also just worked out at home using different exercise DVDs.  With my past workouts I can definitely say it was beneficial with me working out with Jill.  It was a change I needed!!!

I received Jill’s contact info from a local soccer facility where she was holding a class months ago.  After reviewing her website and reading testimonials, I knew that she & I would work well together.  Accountability is what I REQUIRE in order to stay on track.  I’d already lost some weight (before I started with her) by going to the gym and increasing my physical activity on a weekly basis but needed to take things to the next level as well as tone up.  I enjoy working out with Jill because when we’re done, I feel like I’ve done something good.  Often times I’m sore a day or two later and that just reinforces that the workouts are challenging and beneficial.  Jill’s attitude is positive during workouts, she encourages me to push myself rather than slack off and watches my form to ensure that I’m working the correct muscles and do not injure myself.  Each week, the workouts are different so that I don’t get bored and we work different muscle groups.  Jill is also flexible which I sometimes need with my schedule – we’ve worked out as early as 5:30 in the morning and more recently during the business day.  Since beginning to work with Jill, I’ve dropped a couple of sizes and can see some true muscle definition that I was lacking.  Jill is a great trainer and I’ve recommended her to several friends – she’s now training one of my close friends.  Thanks for all the support Jill, looking forward to our next workout!

I trained with Jill Russell for about 3 months in preparation for my wedding this past December. She would come to my house 3 days a week and we would train for a good hour. She brought everything we needed and showed me how easy it was to work-out at home. After just a few weeks I felt better and after one month I had already noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit. I had measured my body a month into training and one month later I had lost about 4 inches!

She always had great work-outs that were fun and never boring – challenging yet not to the point where I wanted to quite or give-up, and when I thought I couldn’t do anymore she talked me through it. Not only is she super nice, but she is real- I’ve had trainers before that made me feel like I’d never get there, but with Jill it was comfortable and I felt like I could get to my goal. My goal wasn’t to lose weight, but to just feel good about my self and to fit into my wedding dress. I almost had to have alterations make some drastic cuts on my gown and thanks to Jill my dress fit great and nothing had to be done!

There was a day that I thought about calling her to cancel because I just didn’t feel like it, I was having a “fat day,” but I didn’t and when Jill got to my house, right-on-time, I told her I wasn’t in the mood and she said “you’re paying me to train you not to be your friend!” that was that and we worked out anyways! During the warm-up she kind of squealed and said “look-look at your arms, you can see your muscles!” We went to the mirror and there they were- muscles! It changed my mood and I was re-motivated. Not only was I excited, but so was she and that really made me feel good.

She really loves her job! I would still be training with her if she hadn’t moved to Round Rock.

Training with Jill was the best fitness experience I have ever had. Before working with her, I might have gone jogging once or twice a month, but always had an excuse not to work out. After only 3 months of personal training with her, I have achieved a fitness regimen to fit my lifestyle! She catered to my body type and focused on key areas I struggled with. Jill is a phenomenal trainer! She knows that I want to be pushed to my limits and she pushes me to go harder and longer. Jill is very knowledgeable about the body, muscles, form and continued to give me different sessions so that the workouts didn't become boring. You have a real jewel in Jill!
